Integrating recycling process equipment and services across a long-running installation programme
Our UK team was appointed by a blue-chip plastics company to carry out the mechanical and electrical installation of a plastic recycling plant, working closely with two original equipment manufacturers. The plant combined sorting, washing, water treatment and extrusion equipment. The published project update documented more than 20 months of delivery.
Equipment assembly, line levelling and utility integration across the recycling plant
The mechanical and electrical installation scope began with offloading and centre-line marking, then moved through equipment assembly, line levelling and connection of site services. Two plastic recycling sorting and wash lines were installed alongside a water treatment plant and three Erema extruder machines with silos. The team also installed electrical services, compressed air and process water needed by the production equipment.
