Industrial delivery for battery, EV and electrified manufacturing
For battery and EV manufacturers, start-up dates are fixed long before construction even begins. Delays across suppliers, technologies and installation teams slow production and increase costs. Beck & Pollitzer brings the experience to keep programmes on track, from R&D facilities and pilot lines through to full-scale production line installation.
We’ve worked with 13 battery manufacturers across 15 sites in eight countries, including CATL, Panasonic, Northvolt and AESC, alongside OEMs from China, Japan, Korea and Europe. That experience means we can bridge Asian and international teams on the same programme, backed by more than 160 years of industrial delivery experience.
Four areas of coverage
Battery production equipment
Battery cell production depends on tightly sequenced process stages, utilities and equipment interfaces working together across the line. Beck & Pollitzer supports installation, production changes and phased equipment moves between lines or sites.
- Electrode manufacturing and cell stacking equipment
- Welding, formation and ageing systems
- Battery pack and module assembly lines
- Cylindrical and pouch cell production equipment

EV production systems
EV manufacturing connects press, body and assembly operations with automation across the production process. During installation or line changes, precision measurement and alignment supports accurate positioning and verification of critical equipment.
- High-tonnage stamping presses and automated feeding systems
- Robotic welding stations and fixturing systems
- Body-in-White modifications for hybrid and electric variants
- Automated guided vehicles (AGVs)

Electric motors & power electronics
Electrified powertrain lines combine precision mechanical assembly, electrical integration and testing within a tightly controlled production environment. For new or replacement equipment, machinery installation and integration can cover positioning, assembly and connection through to commissioning support.
- Electric motor production equipment
- Inverter and converter assembly systems
- Power electronics testing equipment
- Battery management system (BMS) integration

Integrated battery & EV facility delivery
Larger battery and EV programmes can combine new production areas, electrical integration, internal logistics and equipment changes within the same facility. Our integrated facility delivery brings those workstreams together from site planning and installation through to commissioning support and handover.
- Production-area integration and utilities
- Internal logistics and equipment positioning
- Commissioning support and production handover
- OEM, contractor and site-team coordination

Programme delivery & site safety
Battery and EV programmes bring OEM teams, specialist contractors and multiple trades into production areas with live electrical systems, automation and lithium-handling equipment. Through our programme planning and site coordination, installation activities, equipment arrivals and OEM interfaces are sequenced against the production start date.
Site safety planning and control covers permits, isolations, lifting activities and supervision for work around energised systems, automation and lithium-handling areas.

Need to know more?
Our scope can cover individual process assets, connected line sections and complete production-line packages across battery manufacturing. The installation plan is built around the equipment, OEM requirements, utilities and production environment involved.
Yes. Complete-line scopes can be delivered under one installation plan covering equipment positioning, mechanical and electrical installation, interface management, testing and commissioning support.
Yes. We support both vehicle-production and electrified-powertrain environments, including new installations, line changes and capacity expansion. Our wider automotive manufacturing experience covers conventional, hybrid and EV production.
Yes. We relocate equipment between lines, facilities and countries, with the scope planned around asset control, transport, site access and restart requirements. Larger programmes can draw on our production-line and facility transfers.
Yes. Work can be phased around operating production areas, with dismantling, internal equipment moves and installation planned around agreed production windows. See Gigafactory retrofit in Glendale, Kentucky for an example.
