Industrial delivery for building products manufacturing
For building products manufacturers, whether producing insulation, glass, engineered wood or other construction materials, new capacity often has to be installed or relocated without disrupting live production, while managing heavy raw materials, high-temperature processes and equipment sourced from multiple international suppliers. Beck & Pollitzer plans and delivers that work, from new plant installation and equipment relocation to complete factory moves between countries.
Our building products experience includes work for Rockwool, Saint-Gobain Sekurit, SGI and Thébault, alongside programmes for other glass and building materials manufacturers. Across documented projects, our teams have delivered more than 200,000 project hours in seven countries.
Four areas of coverage
Insulation production systems
Insulation manufacturing lines bring together mixing, forming and curing equipment with high volumes of material handling as product moves through the plant. Beck & Pollitzer has relocated and reinstalled more than 2,000 pieces of insulation production equipment across documented programmes, including phased equipment relocation planned around live plant operations.
- Mixing, forming and curing equipment
- Bulk material handling systems
- Large-scale equipment relocation and reinstallation

Glass manufacturing equipment
Glass production depends on furnaces, annealing lehrs and forming lines that run at high temperature and demand precise timing during installation, retrofit or relocation. Our experience includes work for Saint-Gobain Sekurit and SGI, alongside confidential programmes for other glass manufacturers. One glass relocation programme alone ran to more than 3,250 project hours, with alignment and verification support keeping critical equipment within tolerance after every move.
- Furnace and annealing lehr installation
- Heat treating and cooling chamber maintenance
- Post-installation alignment and verification

Wood & engineered panel production
Plywood, LVL and other engineered panel manufacturers rely on multi-OEM production lines that need to be installed, replaced or rebuilt to tight timelines. Beck & Pollitzer supports new production line installation, equipment integration and post-incident rebuilds, delivered through our new line installation and integration capability.
- New production line installation
- Multi-OEM equipment integration
- Post-incident equipment replacement and rebuild

Plant expansions & facility integration
Plant expansions can require process equipment, conveyors, utilities, steelwork and supporting infrastructure to be delivered around existing production. Our integrated facility delivery brings those workstreams together from site planning and installation through to commissioning support and handover.
- Process equipment and conveyor integration
- Utilities, steelwork and site infrastructure
- Commissioning support and production handover

Programme delivery & site safety
Building-products installations can involve heavy process equipment, high-temperature systems and large material-handling areas, often while construction or production continues nearby. Through our delivery planning and site coordination, equipment arrivals, lifting activities and site work are sequenced around those constraints.
Task-specific safety planning covers lifting controls, restricted access, contractor activity and work around hot processes, stored energy and heavy components.

Need to know more?
Yes. In one glass manufacturing project, we relocated production equipment while coordinating up to 120 personnel at peak around a live production schedule. See Production facilities relocation within Germany for the project details.
Our experience spans insulation, glass and engineered wood manufacturing, from individual process assets and supporting handling systems to complete production-line and facility scopes. The method is planned around the equipment, operating conditions and site constraints involved.
Yes. Our teams can manage dismantling, packing, export preparation, transport and reinstallation across multiple destinations. In one building-products consolidation programme, 27 containers carrying around 450 tonnes of equipment were moved internationally across several countries. See how we approach international plant transfers.
Decommissioning heavy process equipment can involve service isolation, structural checks, dismantling sequences, lifting plans and defined removal routes before an asset leaves the production area. See our sequenced dismantling and removal approach for more detail.
Yes. Our teams can support equipment replacement, redesign and production-line reinstatement following an unplanned incident. In one recent project, replacement equipment, supporting platforms and engineering works were delivered over a three-month programme totalling 6,500 project hours.
