Installing over 6,250 tonnes of equipment and 375 km of electrical cabling for a new metals production facility.

Installing a new brownfield metals facility at exceptional scale and precision
Our team in India supported a metals manufacturer with the mechanical, electrical and piping installation for a new brownfield Cold Rolling Mill and Finishing Line facility. The scope covered the Cold Rolling Mill, Thick Gauge Slitter, Thin Gauge Slitter, Roll Grinder, Coil Packaging Line, High Speed EOT Cranes and multiple Annealing Furnaces, each demanding highly controlled alignment and safety standards.
Mechanical, electrical and piping installation across the full production line
Working alongside the client and OEM engineers, our team delivered end-to-end industrial installation services covering mechanical works, electrical installation and piping and welding. The mechanical scope included unloading, unpacking, positioning and levelling of all machinery and auxiliaries, with mill baseplate alignment held to within 30 microns and hydraulic torquing of mill housings up to 4,650 kN.

Over 6,250 tonnes installed to the tolerances the mill required
The project delivered the complete mechanical installation of more than 6,250 tonnes of equipment and 375 km of electrical cabling, alongside the precision piping scope. Across the Cold Rolling Mill and finishing line, heavy-lift installation was coordinated with baseplate alignment held to within 30 microns.
