Installing three sets of warehouse steel structures for a -27°C automated warehouse, with less than 50 mm between the stacker crane and ceiling.

Installing an automated warehouse with less than 50 mm overhead clearance
The dairy producer required a fully automated warehouse system designed to operate at -27°C. The main installation constraint was the space above the stacker crane: at its highest point, less than 50 mm remained between the crane and the room ceiling.
The project therefore combined warehouse automation installation with a very tight positioning tolerance inside the cold-store structure.
Forty-five installation specialists supported by engineering and safety supervision
The site team comprised 45 installation specialists, two engineers and one safety engineer under the project manager. They installed three sets of steel structures for the warehouse complex, including automatic product loading and unloading systems.
With less than 50 mm between the highest point of the stacker crane and the ceiling, all work had to be carried out with pinpoint precision.
