Installing the first bespoke customer fulfilment centre in Asia Pacific, designed to withstand regional earthquake conditions.

Installing the first bespoke CFC in Asia Pacific
Beck & Pollitzer installed the first bespoke customer fulfilment centre (CFC) in Asia Pacific for client Ocado Group and its partner AEON, at Honda-cho, Midori-ku, Chiba City. It was Beck & Pollitzer’s first project in Japan, and the CFC was specifically designed to withstand the earthquakes that can affect the region.
A CFC designed for the region’s seismic conditions, delivered with partner Sankyu
The CFC uses Ocado’s Smart Platform technology, an end-to-end system supporting the site’s logistics and fulfilment capabilities. Our team collaborated closely with partner Sankyu to deliver a CFC specifically designed to withstand the earthquakes that can affect the region.
