Moving presses weighing up to 44 tonnes between production halls over three weeks, with weekend working, floor adaptations and DGUV V3 testing.

Moving heavy presses between halls without disrupting core production hours
The manufacturer needed three presses relocated internally at its Homberg plant. Individual equipment packages included the press, control cabinets, reel and drawing machine, with machine weights reaching 44 tonnes.
The work had to take place outside core production hours, and the destination also required floor-pan adaptation and new cable ducts embedded in the floor.
Weekend dismantling and reassembly combined with floor adaptations and formal electrical testing
The internal relocation included mechanical and electrical dismantling, movement between production halls and reassembly at the new locations.
Destination works included adapting the floor pan and installing new cable ducts. Final electrical testing was completed with DGUV V3 documentation, and the relocation activities were scheduled at weekends outside the core production window.
