Assembling 28-metre silos despite mismatched entry points, missing parts and changing site conditions

Our Hungarian team delivered the turnkey installation of three agricultural grain silos to an installation height of 28 metres. The team encountered mismatched entry points, missing parts, unpredictable weather and challenging site conditions during the machinery and equipment installation.

Twenty-person team using a 30-ton mobile crane, 4-ton telehandler and 80,000+ fixings

A 20-person team comprising engineers, fitters, management, site supervisors and Health & Safety supervisors delivered the turnkey installation. A 30-ton mobile crane and 4-ton telehandler supported the assembly work, while more than 80,000 screws were used to secure the silo components. The team adapted to the missing parts, entry-point mismatches and weather conditions as the work progressed.
