Moving a complete process line and rebuilding it to tight dimensional requirements
The existing airlaid plant had to be dismantled, lifted and transported to a new German site. More than 30 trucks, including special transports, were used to move the plant components.
At the destination, a 25-person mechanical and electrical team had to rebuild a process approximately 75 metres long and seven metres high within a production area of about 9,000 m².
Dismantling, crane loading, special transport and precision reassembly
The factory relocation began with dismantling the old plant before components were crane-loaded for transport to the new site.
Airlaid system handed over ready for start-up in February 2021
The eight-month relocation concluded with handover of the reassembled system in February 2021. The client praised the handling, flexibility and completion to schedule.
