Relocating machinery and utilities from Hannover to Laatzen over six months, including around 400 truckloads and cranes up to 250 tonnes.

Relocating equipment from multiple departments while preserving machine geometry and control data
The relocation covered machinery, systems and equipment from manufacturing, technical, R&D, training, warehouse and assembly areas. Before dismantling the machining centres, control data had to be secured and each machine’s condition and geometry documented.
The programme also required utilities and lifting resources to move with the installation sequence, including compressed air, process water and electrical supplies.
General-contractor delivery from dismantling through utilities and recommissioning
The factory relocation covered mechanical and electrical disassembly, packing, loading, transport, reassembly and recommissioning. Machine geometry was restored from the pre-move records before functions were put back into operation.
Hannover-to-Laatzen relocation completed on schedule with no reported incidents
The six-month relocation was completed on schedule. The project was delivered without incident under the site health and safety requirements.
