Planning the phased relocation of nine multi-axial machining centres and pallet storage units into a new production hall while manufacturing continued.

The Challenge
Relocating a machining production sector while the wider manufacturing operation continued
The heavy-duty drive components manufacturer planned to move a mechanical-processing production sector into a new production hall while ongoing production continued. The initial equipment package included nine multi-axial machining centres with pallet storage units from Mandelli, SSB and Hüller-Hille.
Our Solution
Machine-by-machine identification, dismantling, transport and reinstallation through to operational readiness
The relocation programme was planned across several weeks and included measuring and labelling, electrical and mechanical disassembly, packing and loading, destination unloading and integration, and mechanical and electrical installation.
The scope also included commissioning of a Hüller-Hille machining centre and its pallet storage system, with project sequencing planned around ongoing production.
