Dismantling, packing and transporting machinery between automotive sites across a five-week programme affected by COVID restrictions and tight schedules.

The Challenge
Coordinating a cross-border machinery move during COVID restrictions
The automotive client required machinery to be moved from its Hungary site to a facility in Slovakia. The project combined dismantling and packaging at origin with international transport and destination unloading.
COVID restrictions and a strict schedule added further challenges for the two-country team.
Our Solution
Hungary-side dismantling and packing followed by heavy-lift unloading in Slovakia
The machinery was dismantled, palletised and packaged in Hungary before being loaded into transport vehicles using forklift trucks, cherry pickers and mobile and city cranes.
At the Slovakian site, the equipment was unloaded using heavy-lifting equipment. Coordination between the Hungary and Slovakia teams supported the five-week international move.
