Ten-line welding shop installation for new vehicle production

Installing ten welding lines and integrating 160 robots for new vehicle production over a seven-month programme.

Czech Republic

The Challenge

Coordinating 160 robots across ten new welding lines for new vehicle models

The automotive client was introducing new vehicle models and required ten new UB and UG welding lines, comprising 160 robots and associated accessories. The main challenge was coordinating the installation of a large number of robots and integrating them with the existing production systems.

Our Solution

Thirty operatives deployed across mechanical installation, robot integration and final alignment

Our Czech team deployed 30 operatives over seven months to carry out the mechanical installation of the welding lines. Each component of the welding-shop equipment was positioned, levelled and anchored, and the 160 robots were integrated into the lines with their accessories. Detailed planning and execution allowed the team to manage the volume of robotic equipment.
