Unloading and installing a 24-tonne TEF 220 press with mechanical, electrical, air and cooling-water connections using a PT5400 gantry.

The Challenge
Bringing heavy press handling and service connections together within one installation scope
The automotive technology company required a 24-tonne TEF 220 press to be unloaded, positioned and fully installed, including the associated electrical, compressed-air and cooling-water connections.
Our Solution
PT5400 gantry and 7t forklift used before mechanical, electrical and utility connections
A PT5400 gantry, 7t Hyster forklift, cherry picker and scissor lift were used for unloading and positioning the press.
The installation then covered mechanical and electrical setup together with compressed-air and cooling-water connections. The site team worked ten-hour shifts through the programme.
