Industrial delivery for automotive manufacturing
For automotive manufacturers, output rarely stops for long. Model changeovers, plant consolidations and line transfers have to happen around existing production schedules, often across multiple sites and countries. Beck & Pollitzer plans and delivers that work around those constraints, from press and body shop installation through to complete line transfers between plants.
Our automotive experience spans programmes for Toyota, Ford, Stellantis and Kia, together with Tier 1 suppliers such as ZF, Bosch and Cummins. This work extends across Europe, North America and Asia, backed by more than 160 years of industrial delivery experience.
Four areas of coverage
Press & body shop equipment
Press and body shops combine heavy production equipment, robotic cells and Body-in-White tooling within tightly sequenced manufacturing areas. Beck & Pollitzer supports new installations, line changes and equipment transfers, with complete production-line and plant moves available for wider relocation programmes.
- Stamping and hydraulic press installation
- Die casting machine installation
- Robotic welding stations and welding fixtures
- Body-in-White installation and modification

Paint & surface finishing systems
Paint shops depend on conveyor routing, process equipment and controls working accurately across a continuous production flow. During new builds or line changes, paint-line dimensional verification supports positioning and verification where dimensional accuracy is critical.
- Paint shop conveyor system installation
- Surface finishing and coating equipment
- Automated inspection systems
- Electrical integration for paint line controls

Assembly & powertrain equipment
Assembly and powertrain areas bring together conveyance, machining, testing and component-production equipment across connected manufacturing stages. For new or replacement assets, assembly and powertrain equipment installation can cover positioning, assembly and connection through to commissioning support.
- Assembly line conveyor installation
- Engine testing machine installation
- CNC machining equipment
- Injection moulding machine installation

Integrated automotive facility delivery
Larger automotive programmes can combine new production areas, utilities, equipment changes, internal logistics and OEM interfaces within the same facility. Our multi-trade facility integration brings those workstreams together from site planning and installation through to commissioning support and handover.
- Production-area and utility integration
- Internal logistics and equipment positioning
- Commissioning support and production handover
- OEM, contractor and site-team coordination

Programme delivery & site safety
Automotive installation programmes are often tied to short shutdown windows, model launches and fixed restart dates. Through our delivery planning and site coordination, equipment arrivals, lifting sequences, OEM activities and trade interfaces are coordinated against those milestones. Task-specific safety planning covers isolations, lifting controls, restricted access and simultaneous work in live manufacturing areas.
Site safety planning and control covers permits, isolations, lifting activities and supervision for work around energised systems, automation and lithium-handling areas.

Need to know more?
Our scope can cover individual production assets, connected line sections and complete manufacturing areas. The delivery plan is built around the equipment, OEM requirements, utilities, access constraints and production schedule involved.
Yes. We can manage a new-line build or complete line transfer as one programme. In one recent EV body shop project, a 50-person team managed equipment arriving in nearly 100 containers and 30 trucks, completing the main works in 2.5 months before four weeks of commissioning support. See Complete body shop installation for a new EV plant in India.
Yes. Our teams support conventional, hybrid and EV manufacturing, including new installations, production changes and capacity expansion. See battery and electrified manufacturing for our specialist EV and battery capability.
Yes. We regularly work within planned shutdown windows and live manufacturing environments. In one recent automotive shutdown, a 20-person team replaced nine production robots in one week, with the installations tested and ready for restart at the end of the shutdown. See Robotic replacement during an automotive summer shutdown.
Yes. International moves can cover asset identification, dismantling, export preparation, transport, reinstallation and restart support, with the sequence planned around the destination site and production timetable. See cross-border equipment relocation for more detail.
